POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Keep Clean: Avoid touching your face for the first 24 hours. Keep face clean until the next morning. Then wash with gentle cleanser and apply light serum before applying products and/or makeup.
Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment to allow your skin to breathe and heal.
Hydration: Use a gentle, hydrating serum or moisturizer recommended by your aesthetician to soothe your skin.

TMJ TREATMENT

Neurotoxin injections work by temporarily relaxing the masseter muscles to treat TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders. The masseter muscles are located on the sides of the jaw and are responsible for chewing and clenching. When these muscles are overworked, it can lead to jaw pain and tension.

PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR INJECTABLES:

As with any injectable procedure, cosmetic injections may cause swelling and bruising. Most episodes are very mild and resolve shortly. DO NOT APPLY cosmetics or creams to the site of ANY injection for at least 12 hours:

To reduce chances of bruising, please avoid the following for 72 hours prior to your visit: any form of alcohol, aspirin, medications containing ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen, CoQ10 and fish oil supplements.
To aid in faster recovery, you can take sublingual Arnica or use the topical gel prior to and after the procedure. These can be purchased at most health stores.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR INJECTABLES:

Avoid intense cardiovascular exercise for 24 hours (i.e. cycling, running, HIIT classes, etc.)
We recommend waiting 5 days before doing a facial or other skin treatments
You should expect to see the neurotoxin’s full effect from 3 days up to 2 weeks
